In the fall of 1981 after several years of dealing with the tough economic conditions
of the Northeast, Arthur and Marie D’Attile along with their 19 year old son Gregg
made a fateful decision to move to South Florida.
Art following in his father's
foot steps, being a union plumber for 25 years and constructing many schools, churches,
hospitals, office buildings, and apartments, including The Worlds Fair, in and around
Brooklyn, N.Y. and Marie having raised a family of two children, decided a new beginning
was in order. Arrangements were made, the house was sold, the truck was loaded and
on January 9, 1983 they arrived in
Coral Springs, Florida.
During that same year
Art took and passed his Broward County Master Plumbers License and on August 15,
1983, Gregg, Arthur and Marie D’Attile formed Art Plumbing, Inc. a State of Florida
corporation.
Gregg with a burning desire to succeed the backing of his Master Plumber
father and strong support of his mother went out door-to-door visiting local builders
and business trying to secure the company’s first job.
That first opportunity was
a hair salon located in Lauderhill Florida owned by Steven David that was relocating
to Coral Springs.

Gregg and Art did the disconnecting of the equipment at the Lauderhill
location and then did the plumbing work at the new salon located at 10103 West Sample
Road called Steven’s Hair Design. Marie did the office work and kept everything
organized.
Art Plumbing & Air Conditioning, still provides plumbing and air
conditioning services for Mr. David’s hair salon. Next came a warehouse project
in Boca Raton followed by several single family homes, and then relationships with
several area building contractors. The company completed many spectacular homes
along with several office buildings, warehouses, retail stores, city and county
projects, located in Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
All the while the company
focus was on dependable service before during and after the work was finished. In
1990 the direction of the company shifted from new construction work to service,
repair replacement, remodel, drain cleaning and maintenance of plumbing systems
for commercial, industrial and residential applications.

In 1996 they added air
conditioning to there list of services. A real family business, Art’s grandson Arthur
G. D’Attile officially joined the company in 1992 making him the fourth generation
plumber in the family.
Today the company is as committed to customer satisfaction
as it was back in 1983. We want all of our clients to be so satisfied with our services
that they would not even think about using another company for there plumbing or
air conditioning needs.
